Robert was asked to produce a training video on behalf of Staffordshire University which combined film and animation and incorporated the views of both senior academic staff and students.

He alone was responsible for the project from start to finish and utilised a wide range of skills to produce it including: project management, communication, technical skills, adaptability and ability to work with a wide range of people.

He was creative, enthusiastic and hard working in his role and successfully produced a video to fit the brief. The video will enhance our service delivery and, due to the technical skill set required, was something that we could not have produced ourselves.
— Jennie Aincham, Quality Enhancement Officer at Staffordshire Univeristiy
Robert and I worked together on the production of Mr Imagination, a short film shot and edited in 48 hours as part of the Manchester Filmonik Kaberet.

I found Robert to be full of ideas and very professional in his attitude and his post production and editing work was great. I am hopeful that I will have the opportunity to work with Robert again in the future.
— Simon Howard, Writer - 'Mr Imagination'
Rob joined us as his first junior comp job. He started very well and became a valuable member of the team.

Rob is a very diligent individual and is very passionate about what he does. He has a good eye for detail and communicates well with his supervisors and production. Rob has contributed to many shows in his time with us, moving from show to show and making a difference to all.

He has produced some lovely work and he has plenty of potential in his future in visual effects.

I would recommend Rob and I would certainly like to work with Rob again in the future.
— Dave Bannister, 2D Supervisor at DNEG
Robert is a very good compositor. As well as having an excellent eye for detail, he also is always looking for ways to make things even better, normally going out of his way to do this.

We worked together at DNEG and it was a good experience for me, one which I’d like to repeat sometime.

Robert’s a nice chap and I would expect him to be a good fit wherever he works.

I would recommend him.

During Roberts’s final year he chose to study digital compositing as his major year long project and has become particularly skilled using After Effects to integrating live action footage with CG elements. His practical work the compositing module was excellent and highly detailed.
